Your mental health and safety matters so take care of yourselves and remember theres always someone out there who you can talk to. Obviously i cant do every country ever but these are just resources i have compiled together so please feel free to send your countries mental health hotlines/resources

I really appreciate this post and the effort that has gone into compiling it and its very helpful to others. As someone who works in a live control room I unfortunately see the impact of mental health crises far more often than most people realise. There are days where I deal with incidents involving suicide or attempted suicide on the roads, and it's a stark reminder that mental health struggles affect people from all walks of life. That's why I think it's important that we stop comparing one group's struggles against another's and instead focus on supporting anyone who is suffering. Resources like these can genuinely save lives, and sharing them may help someone find the support they need at their lowest point.
Even today, I witnessed a person jumping from a bridge while at work. Experiences like that are a sobering reminder of why mental health support and accessible resources matter so much. There is always support for you and there will be someone to help.

Thanks for taking the time to put this together 10/10 Post

As a nurse, i have seen people in mental health crisis as well going through my own mental health problems soi know working to support those in mental health crisis can take a toll on your own mental wellbeing. im assuming your place has debriefs and resources for these kind of situations, make sure to access those after a rough one at work and remember we are all human we all feel things especially nurses/police/doctors/call handlers/ any professional who deals with these situations and just remember to be kind. please reach out to someone when you have one of these days as its always best to get it off your chest before you spiral into "what could i have done to stop it".

Yeah we have an active 'Health, safety and wellbeing policy' and we can create 'safety moments' by talking to our team/colleagues, if your going through anything it's great to do.

And i'm sure we have the same/similar Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) system as you guys.
