Welcome to the July 2024 edition of the Monthly Roundup. This newsletter is designed to keep our employees and the public updated with any changes in the city or department. Attached to the newsletter will be a message from the office of the Chiefs of Department, awards, key moments and careers. As we wrap up July, I want to take a moment to thank everyone in administrative roles for your hard work and dedication. Your efforts in handling applications and keeping our divisions running smoothly are truly appreciated. It's great to see how well you all help maintain our workflow and prevent backlogs from building up.This month has been relatively quiet, with no major updates or events. Sometimes, having a steady month like this allows us to focus on our regular duties and ensure everything is running smoothly. I’m also happy to share that the results of the employee satisfaction survey are out. Your feedback is crucial, and we're going through the results to see how we can improve. A big thank you to everyone who participated and shared their thoughts.
We'll keep you informed about any new developments or opportunities as they come up. In the meantime, if you have any ideas or suggestions for activities or improvements, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Thanks again for your commitment and hard work. During the month of July, Moon has actively been seeking lower ranking Officers to patrol with and he has issued an impressive 27 observation reports. His in-game activity is also exemplary and he has demonstrated great professionalism whilst on-duty. Moon is a great example for Officers!"

Police Meritorious Achievement
Awarded to: Lieutenant Jacob Blooregard 8007 (flugs)
"We brought flugs onto the Development Services team to overhaul the entire UI for the new version of PLPD Online. He has done an absolutely fantastic job at this, as the website now looks significantly better than it did compared to the initial release. As he is now resigning from this role, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank him for his hard work, as it has not gone unnoticed."
