MESSAGE FROM THE CHIEF
Just like the past couple of months, November was just the same, beginning with the resignation of Acerius and Sean and the following promotions of A1L, Nottoc and myself. We've quickly settled into our new respective roles and are excited to see where the future leads us, with several plans already set in motion.
The Employee Satisfaction Survey closed and we carefully evaluated the results, having adapted the ideas we already had, while also forming completely new ones in hopes of further improving the PD and experience for everyone. Most of These changes will likely take place behind the Scenes with the various command teams and administrative staff, such as improved quality control.
We're especially proud to have finally been able to publish the long-awaited TFU update! On behalf of the Office of the Chiefs I'd like to thank each and everyone of our dedicated colleagues who have spent countless hours on writing policies, coding, modeling and testing the new features!
A few other miscellaneous changes were implemented alongside this, such as changes to the incident system and emergency lights to further improve the realism and expand the tools we have access to. PLPD.online was also updated quite a bit, now enabling things such as automated PM's for Internal Affairs and expanded notifications.
A new award has also been introduced: Dispatcher of the Month. I'd like to congratulate the first recipient, RawDogSingleMoms for his exemplary service while serving as a dispatcher. On that note, the dispatch applications are currently being revamped, but we are close to publishing the new application process, so stay tuned!
Lastly, we are now entering the month of December, a rather special month for the majority of us. We wish all of you happy Holidays and a great time with your friends and families.
