Welcome to the November 2025 edition of the Monthly Roundup. This newsletter is designed to keep our employees and the public updated with any changes in the city or department. Attached to the newsletter will be a message from the office of the Chiefs of Department, awards, key moments and careers. Get your snowboots on, wrap yourself up nice and warm, and get ready for the snow! As November comes to a close, along comes December, the most festive month of the year and the final 31 days of 2025!Operation RespectTheTing saw its final moments on the 15th, wrapping up the campaign with 5 prize winners as part of a wheelspin for participants who didn't quite make the top prize scores. In other news for the Patrol division, they shall soon be opening applications this month for a new Junior Command member! This is a golden opportunity for devoted individuals to join OS Command and be one of the respected faces of the department! Furthermore, the Road Traffic Unit is in the planning stages of a new campaign with a high cash prize reward! Stay tuned for more information regarding that as developments continue once it is finalized and announced! With the annual community awards taking place this year as per usual, we encourage all officers to vote honestly and thoughtfully on who they feel truly deserves to take the spotlights as the best Officer and best Police Supervisor! Now is your time to sing your praises on who you think deserves recognition for going above and beyond expectations in their respective fields. Something incredibly important of note with the holiday season coming up is that the inner workings of the department will slow down close to Christmas. To give everyone time to spend with their family and friends during the holiday season, there may likely be a noticeable slow-down behind the scenes. That wraps up what we have to say for November!
