my game broke

hello,
recently i used this guide to get my FPS higher : https://perpheads.com/threads/complete-final-fps-guide-no-cheeky-exes-no-artifacts.11944/ since then my game broke. i cant see any player and some of the cars are invisible for me ..

i did it already. still not working.

Hi, try to remove all commands and try to use only some parts, so do 1/4th of total code each time so you can trouble shoot the command.

If that fails you could try leaving the startup commands empty. Or use only 4 commands in the entire cfg:

r_shadows 0 (make sure to bind 1 and 0, you need a flashlight sometimes)
r_3dsky 0 (bind if you need render distance to be long sometimes)

r_drawbatchdecals 0
R_drawdetailprops 0

Using only those should still give you a fat boost, youll only miss out a few

i dont know how to remove all commands, can you explain to me ? and about the directx 9, i had it but now it changed to directx 8 i think and it wont let me change it again

If i remember right console commands don't save, they become default everytime you start Garry's mod.

Just remove all the commands, just do the same as adding but delete em all.

Uninstall directx 8 and then install 9. I think it is required.
