Dear PLPD colleagues,

You will have seen that 2022 is bringing a wave of change to the Department and we are looking to follow that trend in PLPD with new initiatives for our staff. This year we will be running a new Observation Report competition for our Corporals and Sergeants, with prizes being handed out every quarter.
From the 1st of January onwards, the one colleague who hands out the most Observation Reports will receive a cash prize of $300,000 courtesy of the Patrol Command. The counter will be reset every quarter, with the final date for each quarter as follows:
- March 31st
- June 30th
- September 30th
- December 31st
Of course, we would like to stress that Observation Reports must be of acceptable quality and participants should hand them out to a variety of colleagues at different ranks. Operations Services Command Teams reserve the right to discount any Observation Report that does not meet the required standards or disqualify participants completely for dishonest behavior and/or behavior that is not in the spirit of the competition.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding this new competition then please do not hesitate to get in touch via the Helpdesk function on PLPD.online.

Kind regards,
Operations Services
