AWARDS


We want to be able to award department members for their hard-work and commitment so they do not feel that their work is going unnoticed. We aim to give these awards out to notable members of the department who have really put a great amount of effort in. At the moment, awards can only be authorized by the Chief of Department, however Officers can be brought forward by any commanding officer (ranked Lieutenant+)

AWARDS LIST

Medal of Valor

Awarded to individuals that display the highest level of service, ability, judgement and skill in service to the Paralake Police Department.
Authorization: Chief of Department

Police Distinguished Service

Awarded to individuals that show consistently high standards, conduct and ability during their duties in the Paralake Police Department.
Authorization: Operations Services, Support Services or Professional Standards Department

Police Meritorious Achievement

Awarded to individuals for performing a particularly noteworthy act in service to the Paralake Police Department.
Authorization: Commanding Officer of a division.

Community Policing

Awarded to individuals who consistently work for and with the community to keep relations at a high standard through working with consistently good high standards of public service.
Authorization: Patrol Command

Officer of the Month

Awarded to individuals on a monthly basis, who show notable performance within the Police Department as a whole.
Authorization: Chief of Department
