Suggestion Title: Healthy Diet
Suggestion Description: Eating fish is made to have a slight buff to loading bars, like reloading magazines; equipping a crowbar; holstering; etc..

Why should this be added?:
- P2P business for fishing
- More market variety, Currently bazaar is literally just a farmer's market for criminal equipment
- People can actually have a reason to run businesses like Roxies diner, or restaurants in general.
- Fishing can have a commission side of profitability that rewards players who interact instead of just selling to Poissons.
- Good for A1L
What negatives could this have?:
- Unbalanced in PVP?
- Players can stock up too easily
- Won't fully remove the lack of variety of bazaar items

What problem would this suggestion solve?: Selling fish to players is nowadays a gimmick aspect of a roleplay someone may do once in a while, when it can really become real part of the game that holds a beneficial mechanic.

I would much rather see a great variety of different foods that do different things instead of a singular food having good buffs. Thought of making a food update suggestion where you can actually cook different recipes that will have different buffs but I am afraid the benefits wouldn't be enough for players to actually put the effort in. The only people using this would be the more passive players.

I do like this suggestion but I do feel like it would be A LOT better if all foods had different buffs/debuffs.

I agree and share that aspiration but development of such an ambitious vision seems to be highly unlikely, especially considering the history of it.

Description of the idea:
Expanding food and drugs.

Since V5 is going to have a diner, it’s only fair that we expand food to cater for it.

Let me begin by stating the following disclaimers regarding the “drugs expansion”:
The idea of the drugs expansion aspect of this suggestion will not effect making more money from DD, rather you make them more appealing to resell to other players. This technically does mean “dRuGs bUfF” but not in the easy sense of selling it to the drug dealer, more in the sense of dealing to other players, which is completely fine in my opinion as it encourages...​

Funnily enough, there are actually a few unused models for different types of food & drinks in PERP's files such as donuts, different sodas, cream, different milk model and meat such as beef fillets, chicken fillets and pork fillets (both packaged and unpackaged):

Additionally as well, there are a few models for fruit and vegetable plants such as potatoes, onion and tomatoes which I would presume would be grown in a planter box or at the farm as there is also a large model for corn which I would believe was supposed to be...

The way to make fishing more appealing is to improve fishing, something we have been working on for a few months already. I can't say we won't rebalence food in some way following this update, but that is still a while off.

I believe a major overhaul or expansion of the food and cooking mechanics could greatly enhance immersion and create new avenues for roleplay. Suggestion Title: Food mixtures update
Suggestion Description: The food in perp has become extremely boring and in my opinion. Needs a huge rework
There are alot of different stores in Paralake that promote cookies, baked goods and so much more, i feel like alot of new foods should be added, both for the more ”realistic” aspect of food and to promote better and more passive roleplaying.

Why should this be added?:
- better QoL
- More roleplaying opportunities
- more fun and a more engaging resturaunt roleplays

Main Idea: Add more food options, ways of making food and create new posibilities when it comes to private food stores.

Full description of the idea:
Basically the way I am going with this is that I would want more food options and add ingredients which can be used to "craft" certain kinds of food. More fish could alse be added to the sea. There is also a cooking level (1-8), and the higher the level, the more food can be made, and the less is the chance of burning the food.

Currently, there is a open suggestion for such an idea, which has only had one developer respond to it and with a disapproving stance held against it. Furthermore, the thread is neatly sat on the second to last page of the suggestions list with, still, no heartbeat of care by development for such a prospect. The last reply was on August 18th, by a user loving the idea but today it seems as though that that thread lacks any hope of seeing the light of day.

TL DR, I want to simplify the whole situation and just give something for the people who fish to be happy without opening a can of worms so everyone is happy.

Just implement the mechanic from the Minecraft mod Spice of Life Onion.
(But this would be only possible if more craftable food items became a thing. Buying them would be too easy)
