Recover old Plays.TV clips

Hi everyone,

I was going through my nostalgic feelings of PERP and wondered what happened to the old Plays TV clips. Found out the Internet Archive (Wayback machine) still saves a good amount, but it takes manual effort to check each clip and to look for which quality it actually archived.

So I've made a quick tool for any of you who would like to retrieve your old Plays.TV videos that you miss dearly.

PlaysTV Retriever – Find your lost Plays.tv clips

Search a Plays.tv username to find the clips the Wayback Machine saved, then watch and download them for free.

playstv-retriever.com

(no login required or even existing)

Note: Not all videos have been archived, so some may be missing.

Ignored the warnings to download clips before they removed them all. Wish I had.

I've also added a feed, so ya'll can filter by Garry's Mod across all recovered profiles to find the PERP clips there

Overall very happy with the result. Majority of the Garry's Mod clips are from PERP anyways.

Already shared a few laughs with those related to the clips that can be found.

I wonder how many clips will surface that would get most of us banned if we did those things today.

If you ever posted the links publicly, then they may be recoverable. Very rarely, but some were recovered this way from other's.
