Server Suggestion Remote Car Bombs

Imagine using this as a way to terrorize the city while driving through something like a Police roadblock...hmmm, the ideas are endless

Maybe reduce the blast radius a bit to balance it out.
 
I am not sure, but I think that something like that has been suggested.

I really like the idea though and as Creepis mentioned the ideas how to use them are endless
 
I think all bombs should be way more expensive then they are tbh

I can do this with a Ford Transit and a remote explosive for about 3k less money. Can I assassinate someone by putting a remote explosive inside their transit? Plausible but very unlikely.

Remote carbombs should be very expensive but would suffice as an item greatly.

I thought of them for people who don't have three of the GMCs, the Ford Transit or the staff vehicles as it would be quite funny seeing something fast blow up.
 
All other explosives have some form of detecting and then countering them:
  • Remote explosive: TFU C2, prevent the starter using a phone, moving them to another location, running away when hearing the noise and seeing it
  • Timed explosive: Moving them (if brave), running away when hearing the noise
  • Car Bomb: Starting your car engine and running away if you're concerned
Current car bombs are also relatively stationary.

you could add a system where you hold your fists out and crouch under the car and in chat it will display a message saying "There is an obscure object hidden under the car"

I don't think people will use this all the time unless they're expecting it but it can counter the undetectability

It would be completely visible on the car and players could attempt to defuse them using a plier or something? Would require a new model though...

Takes 10 seconds to defuse, when defused the player that defused it receives the bomb.

Just have it visible. I think this would be used more for blowing up police and assassinating people rather then actually trying to stealth kill someone

Tbf I think you can just apply the same rules as for the remote explosives (Remote explosive: TFU C2, prevent the starter using a phone, moving them to another location, running away when hearing the noise and seeing it)

If someone is driving a car at you at speed you're unlikely to hear the phone going off, and even if you did, how would you be able to run away if you're on foot?

Agree with @Synatec, just increase the time to explode, giving time to anyone who is not asleep to run away. However it cannot be too much also bc it would just be useless then, but I think it can be balanced
