The RTU Command Team has decided to run a campaign for the whole PD to participate in! This Campaign focuses on law 12.5 Road Markings and Signage with the addition of laws 12.11 and 12.12.
Here is a brief overview of what we expect from Officers:
● Creating #SkipTheSignPayTheFine adverts & broadcasts.
● Stopping people that are breaking laws 12.5 Road Markings and Signage, 12.11 Driving Without Due Care and Attention, and 12.12 Reckless Driving.
● Maintaining a professional attitude while being reasonable with the person.
● Include the hashtag (#SkipTheSignPayTheFine) in any tickets regarding the relevant laws.
● Officers conduct themselves and not ticket each other.
There is a prize of $150,000 along with a second-place prize of $75,000 and a third-place prize of $50,000 available to the officer that gives out the most valid #SkipTheSignPayTheFine tickets or sentences by 26/04/2022.
Disclaimer: RTU Command reserves the right to discount officers' votes if they act against a policy, have had a serious recent infraction (Demotion or Discharge) or there are doubts that the entries were fair.
