Go on the in game f1 help menu and look through the mugging map, then ALWAYS have a gun on you and out (unless police are in the near vicinity or it’s visible to them), if you do that you will literally never get mugged.
Also, don’t even consider buying any other car then a van if you’re new, essentially all of the low costing cars are bad except the ford transit, once you buy that for it’s utility save up around 900k the get the Volkswagen Golf gti.
