Description of the idea:
Add a "Shared suppressor" that fits on most guns.

The shared suppressor should be a suppressor that fits on a large number of firearms.

Examples of firearms it should work on include:
- Any pistol with a threaded / barrel that extends beyond the slide.
For example, the M9, Glock 17, HK USP 40, HK45CT.
- Rifles such as:
M4A1, FAMAS,M16, Sig 550, SCAR L, AK74U.
- All SMG's except the Mac 11.

The shared Suppressor will cost more to make than specific calibre suppressors, Should be significantly louder than calibre specific suppressors, and for pistols, should take up more sight space.

The usefulness of having a shared suppressor will be to allow people to have those instead of calibre specific suppressors if the user isn't fussed about the drawbacks.

Downsides of using it should be present, as it would be a powerful item. The shared suppressor should offer no recoil benefits. Maybe it could also reduce fire rate by 10%?

Why should this be added? (pros):
- An incredibly useful item
- Has drawbacks so it wont replace calibre specific suppressors.
- Would allow guns like the MP7 which currently lacks a suppressor to have one til developers are able to add a suppressor for the MP7.
What negatives could this have? (cons):
- Might be hard to implement.

I must disagree with this. I personally feel like it would not only be extremely unrealistic, which draws away from the main theme of the server, especially the weapon system that is quite detailed.
You cant fire a 45. ACP bullet through a 9x19mm Suppressor no matter how much you want it to work, the suppressor would simply explode.
Also, while you make a good point that a weapon such as the MP7 does not have a suppressor that would fit onto it, a better solution could be to simply add a new suppressor designed specifically for that weapon, should you really wish to use it that much.
Overall, while multi-caliber suppressors exist in real life, they only fit onto a very limited range of weapons that usually share a similar design, internal system, and caliber.
