it's a discussion, not a suggestion tony.
Reshade can be used for things like zooming in to get an advantage or changing colours to gain advantages… a dot in your screen is a bit different

As already mentioned there’s too much potential for abuse for it to be a good idea to even consider or encourage its use. Just like when crosshairs were disallowed, there is no way for us to moderate the use of the program and be able to easily tell who is abusing it.

I think it’s time we addressed ESP.
I see no reason not to allow it. All it does is show something you can easily sound play / acquire via noclip users screenshare.
The benefits of ESP include:
- No jumpscares / unexpected attacks taking people by surprise, a problem people with heart conditions and / or nervous dispositions find uncomfortable and dangerous.
- Let’s you know where your friends are. This prevents friendly fire and friendships becoming ruined as a result.
- Assists users with understanding what staff members are spectating them. This has a plethora of benefits including staff accountability, privacy, and who to address within the report.
- Assists users with criminal activity, as they know which bases to raid and where the defenders are. This alleviates the burden of having to fight defenders and 20 cops. Furthermore, it keeps 2.5 violations to a minimum, as users will have less excuse of shooting unarmed players that they thought were armed. This benefit also is shared across officers who wish to follow use of force.
- For firefighters, they can see if people are trapped in fire, and know how to get a direct path to free the trapped individuals.
- Medics can know which bodies to revive and where. No more wasting time checking pulses or spamming defibs.
- Couriers can locate players far easier.
The endless benefits above are completely ignored because “It lets you literally see players through solid objects!” This Roleplay enhancing tool should be allowed by V6.

Wait reshade can be fucking abused in combat? I've used it for sharpening before i got tired of the fps loss and uninstalled it a few months ago. I thought it was just haha funny graphics mod not this thing that can be abused. I swear nobody here can use things without 30 million safeguards.
