If you're into cop books at all, I just finished "400 things cops know: Street Smart lessons from a veteran patrolman" and I'm currently reading "Way of the Warrior: A Philosophy of Law Enforcement 1 and 2"
Can highly recommend both books. Both humouros, informative and intriguing.
Depends entirely on what type of book you're looking for.
I'm a big fan of history and I'm currently about 1/4 way through Max Hastings "all hell let loose"
I also have ready to read his book about WW1, he goes into great detail. For example he describes how the Poles in 1939 held out by thinking the British were coming, and how angry they were come the fall of Warsaw.
If you like politics then Farages auto-biography (pre referendum) is actually really good, talks about his plane crash, the pilot who tried to kill him, having cancer and surviving car crashes. It's more about him as a person than just his politics too.
