Bought it with the ICEY Daily Deal Bundle in 20th October (1 euro+8 euro shipping costs), still waiting for mine lol. Just hope that your courier isn't GLS or else they will return it to the sender because of a 7 day storage period running out including giving your Steam Link a world trip trough Denmark and the Netherlands when it arrived in Wesel which is pretty close to where I live...if that does happen then have fun contacting Steam support. Their tracker is also shit, it says that they delivered it to the receiver which never happened, made it look like some random bloke in the Netherlands got it too.

Either way, great hardware. Just make sure that your internet isn't poopoo.

what does it do
Basically Steam big picture for any TV in your house, but it streams games from your PC to your TV. If im correct you can also browse the web, watch youtube and netflix and stuff like that.

I have a lan cable for my smart-TV but we can just put that on the 5GHZ and put the lan cable in the steam link. my pc is on lan aswell so it'll be fine

They ship from Tilburg which isn't that far from me, it will be either GLS or DHL but i have never had issues with GLS they are pretty good here. if im not home they'll give it to the neighbours

Had the thing for around a year now. Let me tell you one thing: Thing is rather useless without the steam controller, and they know that. It's probably why they are selling the link for that price.

HOWEVER

If you get the controller too, holy shit it's amazing. The controller is really one of the best things I've bought in a long time. The amount of customization available is awesome.

Tl;Dr, for anyone who hasn't bought one yet: Get the controller bundle or don't get it. You'll be better off with a 10m hdmi cable or something.

i have had mine now for 2 days and its amazing.

I have not yet been able to try it on my home Wi-Fi, but there is litteraly ZERO noticable lag on lan. The quality is pretty good, 1080p60, no stuttering, you can even stream your normal windows screen to it and use wake-on-lan

Besides hopping on the couch and turning on your pc via your steam link, you can view almost anything on the big screen like your weird hentai and porn youtube and netflix.

im using my ps4 controller which works perfect, shows the buttons in the UI and you have near full control on customization and shit.

Only thing is that you cannot use the audio jack on the controller for mic and audio, altough you can with the newer controllers with the usb dongle, but this is not steams fault.

I mean I would get it but it would only be me who would use it. And I the £4 looks really good and all but I need to buy either the steam controller or a wireless Xbox 360 controller because my parents don't want cords across the living room and I don't want to pay £27 for something I'm not going to play enough. If I already had a wireless controller with it I would buy it but I don't so RIP. Also, imagine playing CS:GO on your TV. Lol, I would get smacked by my parents from the shit people say lol.

So its like a apple tv but for steam games or?
Basically yeah, you can stream any game to your tv, but you can also do some browsing and i think youtube and netflix too.

You can also do non steam games just as easy by adding them to your libary or just going to your pc desktop

it's still worth it, and with the ps4 pro controller(with dongle) you can just your headphones/headset on the controller, or if you have a wireless headset just leave it in your PC
