The Codfather

'The Codfather', a family run fishing business set up in 1963 by three siblings of the Darler family, Paul Darler, Samuel Darler and Edwina Darler. The company was founded to provide local chippies in and around the County Down area of Northern Ireland with fresh fish for their 'delicious' fish suppers. The organisation was based just up from the Bangor harbor where the go to, well, fish!

Due to the significant increase in competition over the last 5 or so years, the remaining owner of the business, Paul Darler, made the decision to move the organisation somewhere different, somewhere with less competition, and somewhere they could provide their freshly caught fish to local business owners, and that place was Paralake City. Recently the remaining owner of the business, Paul Darler, sadly passed away, passing on the business to his youngest son Danny Darler, who plans to grow the business throughout Paralake City...

Our Operations
Our company is based mainly in the Hicktown forest area. This is where we will be fishing, cooking and loading the fish onto the truck.

We cook some of our fish, or sell it raw.

The fish will be carried on a truck to local businesses we provide with fish, such as Fredy's Bakery.
