The server shows up as outdated version 2023.6.28 meaning i can't play, is the server going to be updated soon?

Not sure, but some previous posts were saying when Gmod updates this message appears to some people. Apparently it will only go away once an Owner or someone restarts the server. If this is the case it might be relatively soon.

Try joining on the 64bit branch of Garry's Mod if you aren't already.

Right click the game in steam > go to Beta participation > select x86-64
