I am pleased to announce a major update to our market system, we have been referring to it as 'Market 4' being the fourth generation of our online marketplace. The new system has higher performance, additional features and an improved design. Let's take a look at the new market in more detail.
Improved interface
The new buttons have icons for quick reference, and thanks to improved backend code they are more responsive

Any popular items such as top sellers and recent purchases can be selected much quicker using the side menu

Item descriptions and pages
We have generated an item description for every item, and have improved the page when selecting an item. This also includes the addition of descriptions to service items such as custom signs, skins and premium as this was missing before.

Improved basket and discount calculation
The calculation and display of discounts and items in your basket have improved and become more reliable

Discount visible on orders
We keep our prices transparent for crafters now showing the discount applied to each order

And there are much more smaller features. The main improvement being performance, we now download a copy of all items in paralake every few hours and refer to them locally as to prevent excessive wait times to connect to the API each time we load the market.
