Suggestion Title: Wall prop
Suggestion Description: I have made some wall props and they don't match the wall papers in shop. They are too bright and do not match

Why should this be added?:
It would just make it more realistic to block off parts of shops.

What negatives could this have?:
None just dev time

What problem would this suggestion solve?: These are the two examples

it would be pretty nice for building if we could (relatively) seamlessly match the wall props with the walls on the map. probably a tall ask though since ik lighting in source is funky and can interact differently with props than it does walls, floors and stuff

Shop wallpapers use lightmaps for their shading. This is an accurate way to do lighting, but it is part of the map and is baked when the map is compiled. The modular walls use vertex lighting shaders to simulate their lighting, it is a much faster method, but is much less accurate, shading the entire prop the same based on its illumination position.

Lightmap shading does not work on props, so there will always be a mismatch between the two.

There is also a limit to the number of skins a prop can have. So I chose some to match wallpapers, others to match props (the one in your first example matches the bookshelf, not the wood panel shop wallpaper), and some that are unique.
