Why were you punished?: I was punished due to my steam username “Racist Goat”
Why should this appeal be considered?: The name “Racist Goat” is not intended to promote or encourage racism. Its meant as a unconventional piece of dark humor, mixing separate concepts into an ironic and nonsense name. A 'goat' is an animal that is incapable of being racist, and by putting it next to the word 'racist' it is intended to make one think or laugh via absurdity rather than condone or normalize discrimination.
Also, I understand that the policies do not permit discriminatory action and offense in usernames, but I would reason that no real person or group is being singled out or targeted by this username. It's a fictional characterization of an animal, not a person or user. Thank you for coming to my T.E.D talk I hope you enjoyed my argument and include me in your inclusive server as I enjoy it very much.
Additional Information: I hope I get ruled in favor of but either way this will be my last attempt at making an appeal to this. Also I’d like to suggest for v6/the future that steam names be hidden or be able to be changed in game instead of having to change them on steam
