Your Steam Name: MalekIsWeird
Your Roleplay Name: Dusty Colt-McGraw
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:137872891

Why were you punished?: 3.15

Why should this appeal be considered?: Hello

I disagree with the punishment given out for the rule 3.15 and the follow up reasoning for claiming that 3.4 would be broken had a chase began if I was successful in helping escape my friend. I will explain below the full context of the situation.

Today at 1 PM GMT +3:00 an incident happened where I was roleplaying as my cowboy character Dusty Colt-McGraw and I came upon a friend (Leen Osh) being traffic stopped for Driving without Due Care or Attention as informed. This crime is the second worst traffic violation as it constitutes 3 years of prison and $2000 fine, right behind 12.12 which is slightly worse. Leen was cooperative and exited her vehicle to talk to the officer in an attempt to stall him before having to identify. My following action was to enter the driver seat and try to clear a route for her to escape as to avoid the imminent risk of loss of freedom and finance.

Upon entering the driver seat of the Audi because Leen helped me gain control of the vehicle by exiting. I viewed that the Police Cruiser had completely pinned the Audi against the wall. Impeding my ability to aid Leen in escaping this imminent threat to freedom and finance. Thus In accordance with rule 3.15 as stated, I did my best to avoid damaging the vehicle or colliding with it while carrying out this action as it was impossible to avoid colliding but I made sure to not cause any physical damage such that a repair was needed due to the specific action where I pushed the vehicle at extremely low speeds to angle it for a escape route.

As stated in 3.15, damaging in of it self is not a prohibited act as stated "Fleeing life-threatening danger or running someone over in defence of yourself or someone else are justified reasons to collide with objects or otherwise damage the car. "

While these examples do not specify my situation, they at least work to disprove the front put by this formal punishment that slowly pushing vehicles out is against rules completely and utterly when it clearly isn't. Pushing cars is okay to my knowledge, so long as there is a articulable necessity for such an action. Especially when there is freedom and finance at imminent risk.

I did my level best to avoid colliding with a vehicle which it was impossible to avoid colliding with.

Incase any translation is necessary and just to be transparent, Near the end of the video in the evidence you can hear my character saying "Leen, if you want, enter the vehicle." in Arabic. Asking her to enter now if she believes he will punish her.

There was 0 reason for you to damage your vehicle and put your freedom from imprisonment at risk to "save" your friend from a 3yr 2k ticket. You stated that she was compliant, so she more than likely would've just been released with a ticket, there's nothing to save her over - It would have been almost doubled for both of you if you had done it.
I did my level best to avoid colliding with a vehicle which it was impossible to avoid colliding with.
Doing your best to avoid colliding with it would have simply been not reversing straight into it on purpose..... You also claim that you wouldn't have sustained any body-damage to your car while you reverse 20mph into a concrete divider.

3.4 also could have been applied here, but we're keeping the same ban reason.
