Why were you punished?: 2.5 - The user shot and killed another person in a muggable zone because they feared being shot.

Why should this appeal be considered?: I think this warning is unreasonable and not even needed, my car got stuck on the forest rest stop on some logs, and as i try to get my car unstuck, a furai passes by, stops and reverses. he rams in my car and my response is to get out and pull my gun for being scared that i would get mugged. the guy doesnt say anything and gets out of his car and pulls an mp5. me thinking he would just turn around and point the gun towards me potentially mugging/killing me, my response was just shooting him the moment i saw the gun in his hands which is for some reason not allowed and i think that the warning is just straight up bs as i couldnt know what his intent was. as if he would just say that he would get our car unstuck with his i wouldve lowered my gun and let him do it.

Additional Information: I gladly gave the gun back but the warning sound like total bullshit to me.

ok yeah but how would ik that u would just push it, u couldve stayed in ur car and tell us instead of jumping out w a gun, it wouldve changed the scenario by a lot

After debating this punishment, we have come to the conclusion to deny this dispute.

You stepped out of the car and almost immediately starting pointing your gun, before his gun was even visible. You acted too quick in this situation, resulting in you breaking rule 2.5. Yes, he backed up into you but you got out yourself. You can't claim he wanted to ragdoll you.
You didn't have to immediately resort to opening fire here. Instead, I would have kept my gun in passive as he would not be able to gunpoint me anyways, if he were to then gunpoint me, shoot him and report him for breaking 3.4.

What it comes down to is that his intentions were not clear yet, and you acted as if he was already mugging you.
