Suggestion Title: ways to demote mayors by votes
Suggestion Description: You can request to demote mayors if they are not listening to citizens or keeping things that are negative to the cities or not helping the citizens of paralake

Why should this be added?:
- stops people from crying cuz they cant pay their 10% tax or cant kill the mayor cuz hes camping in areas that arent easy to go to without being mugged or needing to carry a weapon on you, avoids escalating shootouts and makes it so non e sporters doesnt always have to try to go kill mayor every 15 minutes

What negatives could this have?:
- mayors may get false demoted idk

What problem would this suggestion solve?: people crying and bad mayors

I thought about adding "mid-term" elections after, say, 2 hours (?) as a Mayor, that automatically have the current Mayor as a candidate but opens the door for other people to get the office.

This suggestion was more of a way of kicking off Tyrants from Mayor slot. 25% sales taxes, 75% income, 25% fuel, 25% vehicle etc.
This should only be allowed if mayor has one of the following at max, this will exclude policies to prevent mis-use.

I agree with this to be honest, there should be a peaceful way to remove the mayor from office without running the risk of arrest for murder because you've assassinated the mayor. However, I do believe there is a window for abuse here so it would probably be best to maybe add a layer of security in a sense to this such as a request is sent to staff (probably Sr Mod+ or Mod if there's no Sr Mods on) to approve the activation of an impeachment vote. Alternatively to keep it 100% in character potentially have it so the highest ranking police officer can approve the activation of an impeachment vote?

The amount of times I've had mayors on 25% sales taxes while I needed to craft exceeds the amount of times cops have broken policy. I believe this is the way it should be.

Perhaps a balancing factor could be it can only be triggered upon the city losing jobs and the funds decreasing dramatically? That way mayors who profitmax the city by fucking everyone over, if successful, has to be assassinated as a means to an end?

This could work there are times where the mayor just refuses to listen to police then proceeds to hide in a area where he cant be found unless looked throughout the entire map

I think 2-4h there should be a way to re elect a new mayor so elections can be more realistic

At that point, the police should/does become involved. I demote mayors all the time for this

I quite like the mid-term election idea, or something similar to that. Right now the Mayor serves for life basically, but if in 2 hours the Mayor hasn't had a great term, the only option is to either find a reason to kill him or just live with it. By having the mid-term elections, it allows good Mayors to get confirmation that they're doing a good job, and give them a reason to add more policies, and give a legal, peaceful way to get rid of the current Mayor. I definitely agree with some peaceful way to remove the Mayor, and the 2 hour mid-term seems like a fair and reasonable method.

I think the assassination portion of the Mayor is kind of just about the only thing that makes it fun playing the Mayor, once you get tired of being the "good" mayor.

I like that idea but also what if enough people can voice against the current mayor and vote to initiate said midterm election sooner to take place.
