Why is Income on the mayor portal always at zero?

Not sure why this doesn't ever increase regardless of policies. Is it bugged?

your total expenses are always more for every setting. income goes up if people buy stuff and pay taxes

Doesn't really help when you're trying to discern how much money your taxes are bringing in :/

If you are below 100k, be harsh on taxes with low pay and not many policies. this will probably bring it back up though if you are too harsh you will have every pvp thirsty player on the server hunting you down. To answer the question, it's so low because of bad management from the mayor (likely high pay and low taxes or expensive policies for too long.)

However I assume it is probably a bug if it is showing as 0.

I believe the income being at a constant $0 is a bug in the city info app. You still have the income but it isn't shown properly. If there was no income like this shows, then the budget would also be at a constant $0.

This was when I was mayor, the budget was increasing but the income box didnt change.

Have you guys played mayor? Cus these responses kinda strike me as generic/not really knowing much outside of the guide. The income is at a constant 0

I have played Mayor multiple times and it never used to show $0 income all the time. It should show your income based on how you have set taxes (mainly if I remember correctly, the income you are guarantee like income tax). This is a bug as like I said before:

If there was no income like this shows, then the budget would also be at a constant $0.
