Code:
3.3 Realistic Actions
All actions a player makes must be done as realistically as possible, especially during combat; for example, when jumping up-to, or down-from somewhere, it must be done so slowly, carefully, and without resulting in injury to the player. Furthermore, players should take great care whilst climbing. Players should not attempt to boost people onto buildings or structures, nor should they climb onto objects which realistically would not hold their weight.

So lets all be real here, Why is this rule not being enforced. A simple sprint jump isn't as bad as what people are currently doing. The current meta (Sprint bhoping towards someone then shooting them). To make this even worse the people mainly doing this are TFU and heavy TFU. This means the people are even more armored.

Trying to shoot someone who is doing this is stupidly hard. Not only are they fucking up the hit box's of the player model it is just stupidly unrealistic. If you arnt going to enforce it remove the stupid rule. If you want to keep the rule you should be enforcing it.

Feel like your targeting cops they do this when crims also do it.
Im not only targeting cops. The cop video is basically the video I had to hand. As I'm saying enforce the rule in whole. not just towards crims or towards cops. As I stated a simple jump isnt as bad as what this man was currently doing. But if we are going to enforce it. It will need to be correctly. Explaining what type of jumping is allowed in combat and isnt. Even possible jump cool downs set on the person after the jump. (Can be added by tiny)

The problem about complaining about almost anything in PERP will also result in the devs implementing actual features to combat these issues like a double edged sword, in this case it would be to make these sudden movements harder or near impossible depending on your inventory weight and other factors but on the other hand the problem would hopefully be fixed if implemented right. This almost happened with the key feature where it would no longer be a simple press with the F3 menu back in EvoCity when we bitched about property owners suddenly taking away keys from hostages that had keys prior to the building when we started the hostage situation, leaving us in a locked room surrounded by police. Imagine having to give a copy of your physical keys of your property just because some people bitched about it and other features to make it really fucking annoying.

I'm against implementing such features that solve this and I'm glad you're addressing this to make staff aware of this issue in hopes of this getting enforced more strictly as some movement here has become almost like you're in the Matrix or became a Native American doing a rain dance.

I can agree with you. Like I said ^^ it's a possibility to "add" a feature, Enforcing the rule is the simple and the easy way to go about this. Enforcing "more strictly" isnt even needed. I was told on teamspeak that higher up admins have stated not to enforce this stuff AT ALL. (in this bhop cjumping situation). I was just giving multiple options on how to fix the issue not all has to be done/added ETC.

I disagree with further limitations on player movement as it always has unforeseen consequences. It’s a very dangerous path to walk down imo
Just enforce the rule? bhoping while cjumping legit fucks your hitbox up. People are doing it for no other reason than to gain an advantage on the situation on going.

Sometimes its done accidentally / impulsively by certain users on a one off occasion, however we do speak to people about it on one offs. If its being done consistently by certain users then I imagine we'd be issuing punishments to said users.

Further limitations on player movement could be disastrous as has been proven in the past when you'd backflip if you stepped on an item whilst shooting or you physically couldn't aim in certain elevators or fall looping on a barricade or something else.

Again, just my opinion that I disagree that we should limit it. A lot of players do it instinctively too so it would be a very big change to their play style, myself included, that will take some adjustment time.

I can get how you can cjump maybe hit a sprint jump or two in a row being a accident. But, when your casually sprint cjumping + bhoping towards someone. I wouldnt call these a mistake. As stated in the main post it would have to be said "what is and isnt" allowed. So everyone will be aware. Along with this a time period would be given so people can get used to the rule being re-added so they arnt instantly warned.

"they do this when crims also do it."
Feels like you are saying that cops aren't in the wrong when they are doing it?
The point is to enforce the rule for everyone.

The most recent example I've seen of this was a TFU sniping on top of a fence that is extremely thin(the one near scrapyard that overlooks projex), technically speaking I would say this is breaking 3.3 as such a fence would not be stable enough to hold a big ass man with a sniper and even then should this fence hold the person I doubt he would be able to snipe comfortably.

Attempting to reinforce a rule as subjective as this one might lead to plenty of gray areas that will lead to headaches for both staff and users, I wouldn't know how to solve it though.
