Brief description of idea: Change how the light/heavy gear looks:
Light Gear:
Full Black uniform, Black beret and yellow taser on the side and use the holster from the heavy gear (Drop Leg Holster) and put it on Light gear + Black gloves.

Heavy Gear:
Darker blue colour, Black gloves and darker shade of Black for the vest. If possible add a helmet and a small tactical bag on the back.

What benefits would this idea have for the department:
Better look for light gear and not just a patrol officer with different hat and a primary.
Better look for the heavy gear and a helmet serves as more protection. (For example can tank 1-2 shots from pistols)
What potential negatives could this have for the department: N/A

Other additions:
How it would look like in terms of colour and beret.

I don't really believe this is needed, its not a change the department's been jumping on and the models as is are realistic. They dont have helmets right now because they aren't designed to tank shots in the head.

Wdym? Some Departments do have ballistic helmets with level 3A stopping up to 44 Magnum... Which is a VERY powerful round btw. And it's not about realism. It makes it a bit easier to identify light gear officers from normal officers. And it just looks better.

Yeah but we decided our officers do not have them, having helmets for just style while they still are onetappable is confusing. I mean it can look better, but some prefer the current style too.

Okay scratch the helmet for TFU Heavy, add comtacs ;) And tbh most people use rifles so the helmet won't stop a 7.62 at close range or if it does, you got a massive head injury from the energy, which can put you unconscious anyway.
