Why were you punished?: 1.2 - User called another a homophobic slur twice // Extended for 2.5 - Shot someone through a door for knocking.

Why should this appeal be considered?: I am here writing this to clear up I have not broke any rule to do with 2.5 as I had 2 of his friends in the apartment gunpointed, he made it clear they were his friends and they then proceeded to start shouting for help under gunpoint so I killed the guy at my door knowing he will try something as he said “ I know you have my friends in there” him meaning the regals apartment I am not expecting the ban to be removed due to 1.2 but I’m sure a 1 month removal is appropriate as the enforcer who originally banned me said the 1.2 was a 1 month ban then said a mod extended it by another month

I extended it from 1w-2w, not two months, Mini did that but I don't know for what.

I asked him to make it 1 month for me as that’s how long his originally ban was gonna be

That's now how extensions on bans should be handled.

We can issue 1-7 days or 1-4 weeks or 1-12 months and so on. We can't specify days like 13 days for example.

You got banned for a week for a rulebreak, when you received the ban I was handling a report made on you where the reporter provided evidence which I acted on. I added a week to your ban.

It seems like the person who first issued your ban changed their mind and made it a 1 month ban for your first rulebreak and then automatically added another month for my punishments I extended, which makes no sense and I didn't not authorized that not agree with that so this dispute/staff complaint is not on me. It's on the person/people who issued it.

So what happened was lhealy05 told me he can only make my ban 1 week for the time being as he’s an enforcer then it got changed to 2 months but lhealy told me the 1.2 was only a 1 month. So if you extended it and it weren’t a month someone else has changed it

I extended your ban from 1w-2w for 2.5 before they decided to extend it to 1 month. If I knew about it I would not extend anything because I would not be able to justify the extension of the ban in good conscience compared to the actual rule break.

It should be dealt with through staff complaints because it's how it got extended and the length that you're disputing here. Because you did break these rules, you shot an unarmed person through a door without any previous interaction so you're not disputing the validity of the ban? Just the length?

To be honest knowing they were friends that was the most realistic action like I said before so I would say the 2.5 ban isn’t correct but I also believe the length of the ban isn’t correct
