Suggestion Title: Put gas tanks and wrenches in all police vehicles.
Suggestion Description: Hi! Have you ever had your PD cruiser break down? Be it at forest or suburbs, business and somewhere far away? Do you hate having to wait PAINFUL minutes waiting for other cops or roadcrew to come pick you up and take you back to PD? Well I have the solution that I think EVERY cop players absolutely need, and it is a simple fix that would make everything INCREDIBLY EASY.

The idea is to put 5 gas tanks and 10 wrenches in every cop car, like the fire extinguisher but add some more items to it. I cant stress how much easier it would be for officers to have this in their PD cruiser because I guarantee you EVERY officer went through having to wait painful minutes for other roadcrew or officers to come and help them, because their car broke down at forest or somewhere far away.

Why should this be added?:
- It would make it so much easier to fix your car yourself, not everyone goes around carrying gas tanks and wrenches.
Roadcrew don't have to respond to PD cars breaking down every 5 minutes.
Officers are able to fix cars that are broken down at highways to get traffic flowing again.
Officers are able to fix their own cars for prisoner transport.

What negatives could this have?:
- Coding it in the game. (I really don't see what could possibly have a negative outcome from this)

What problem would this suggestion solve?: You wouldnt have to wait a fuck ton of time waiting for other officers to come to you so you can get transport or prison transport. You can just do it yourself and fix your car.

this would be quite an unfair advantage for cops in pursuits imo. how it is now, it encourages officers to drive more carefully and be more fuel aware

cops already get a lot handed to them for free, i don’t think giving them even more would be a good idea

The real solution is to spend those 5 painful minutes on buying your own gas cans and wrenches so you don't have to wait later. This is a solution to a non-issue, and will only serve to subtract from the already borderline lackluster roadcrew experience, the job that is only marginally more fleshed out than taxi driver and on par with courier, yet far less so than police, paramedics and firefighters.

In addition to his; drive more carefully or at least learn to predict the server lag and how your vehicle operates. It's how I drive and completely avoid most avoidable collisions altogether.

Sourcing your own wrenches and gas cans should be an advantage you have to pay for yourself if you want an edge over civilians, as they do this themselves, and also have to fund their own repairs and equipment. With that in mind, the PD does not need this.

By the time the officer gets out of the car pulls a fuel can out and fills his car up the suspect will be long gone especially with the new map. If they are somehow not gone then they should consider getting good at fleeing from police. Failing to see how its unfair.
as for the wrenches if im remembering correctly there is a timer that you have to deal with before you can even use a wrench to fix said car so it wouldn't matter much

I'm not even for the suggestion personally, but the whole idea that government jobs, which are expected to respond to pretty much every situation, are being given an unfair advantage by having supplies on hand to help people is laughable. Are we gonna take the fire extinguisher out of the cars because it might allow PLPD to stop a fire from blowing up a gas can or burning someone alive? Perhaps we should make PLPD purchase their own bandages and stims?

That line of reasoning is easily countered by the fact that PLPD Officers cannot go out of their way to purchase their own weapons as Bazaar. And what about allowing officers to use their own personal vehicles? I'm sure people would absolutely love to have police chases with the police in Lambos and Shelbys, right?

This is a somewhat ignorant way of looking at it. If you've read my reply, you'd know that RC and Courier are the two jobs that have lesser activity than FD, EMS and PD do. The latter three jobs have been buffed into oblivion while the former have little in the way of activity. On top of this, RC have a fairly limited time to respond to the calls they are given before the individual requesting services either just walks away or wrench fixes their vehicle before arrival. This isn't really a question of whether or not it's realistic, it's about balance. Wrenches and fuel are not a quality of life feature that is strictly necessary, countered easily by safe driving and paying attention to your fuel gauge.

In contrast, bandages, stims and splints are all critical components for a functioning PD as all employees frequently find themselves in gunfights where they are largely unable to control when and where they get hurt by gunfire.

I mean that's why I'm also against having wrenches and fuel included. I just buy them myself.
My point is that the argument against having PD spawn with those items being that it would be some kind of advantage is silly.... Also I still want to spawn my Chevy C1 with a light bar.
