Why were you punished?: "Mugging In Public"

Why should this appeal be considered?: I never mugged the guy in public. I ziptied him upon noticing him heading towards the apartment I was about to rob, I moved his gun far away from his person and went back to roleplay with him to take him as a hostage and head into the apartment, that's when the admin teleports to me and trips out, completely ruining the scenario. I agree to give him his gun back and void the situation. Daan agrees and tells the cop and other person it's voided and a "difficult situation that he intervened so don't RP" Then, I go into OOC and say "people love to troll on this server" that's when Daan gets upset and says "I'm tired of you always complaining in OOC" and makes a F6 report and tells me now I'm going to be punished. This was solely done because Daan was upset about my comment in OOC that had nothing to even do with the situation that just unfolded, the same situation he agreed would be fine for VOID + refunding his gun. I didn't MUG him because I didn't take shit from him. I moved his gun away from him and was going to continue the situation before Daan absolutely ruined everything.

Additional Information: Do better bro. Getting upset because I talk shit in OOC just like everyone else and then finding a reason to ban me is simply weird behavior.

No I don't, I only have a picture of where the "mugging" took place. Which was definitely out of plain view and I never stole anything from him only moved his dropped gun (from when he placed his hands up) up the hallway and was about to proceed with my raid using him as a hostage (because I thought he owned the property, he was seen going towards the apartment I was about to raid).


If there's nothing that can be done without a clip I understand. I just don't like how Daan was fine with voiding the situation and giving the guy his gun back (even phys gun'd the gun all the way from up the hall back to the player and AGREED to void) but then because he didn't like what I said in OOC he decided to turn it into a F6 and ban me. That's the real issue here.

Yes. that's where I initally gunpointed him after he came up the stairs and was headed straight towards Tidal 201 that I was about to raid. I wasn't mugging him either. I moved his gun away from him and ziptied him, and was interrupted by Daan before the RP could progress any further.

This is dealt with via Staff Complaints if there is an issue with how the situation was concluded. A similar level of clip context will still be needed there.

Just a note as well - If your intent beyond this was to hold him hostage inside the apartment, it would violate 5.6 Kidnapping for forcing him into the apartment, and likely 3.4 if there was no beneficial reason to start a hostage situation.
