Suggestion Title: Loudhailer
Suggestion Description: Give Senior Officers and above a new equippable SWEP called the Loudhailer, which allows the user to project their voice a long distance.
It would have to be in hand to be used, and when turned on, it would project the users voice, along with a reverb effect of some kind, a long distance (close to render distance ideally)
It would be limited to senior officers and above to kerb misuse, and be subject to a policy which would prohibit it from being used without good cause.
Why should this be added?:
To help police announce entry to a building, clear an area, call out to a potentially hostile property or vehicle from distance and behind cover, etc.
It would make hostage situations and sieges more interesting, and allow police to better communicate with a crowd or mob and control a scene.
What negatives could this have?:
Misuse and mingery annoying the fuck out everyone. This would be mitigated by having policies governing it's use, and only awarding it to senior officers or higher, however if it becomes a concern, it could be bumped up to Corporal, as they are often pressed into the role of scene commanders and co-ordinators when supervisors are unavailable.
Development headaches, though I can't see why this wouldn't be possible, as radios and phones can transmit VOIP with no issue.
What problem would this suggestion solve?: [Yell] PLPD ENTERING HANDS UP PANTS DOWN!!!!
Cops having to run from cover to instruct morons not to walk into active warzones.
