Why were you punished?: 2.5 - User killed another user for no valid reason. Extended ban as the user has just returned from a 3-month ban for 2.5

Why should this appeal be considered?: Hello there

I am disputing this ban for multiple reasons. In my opinion, looking back at the situation, speaking with people about it and just letting it linger, I'm disputing it.

To Condense this Im splitting it into 3 parts - The person in question, My response to the F6, Rule clarification and just general knowledge


1 - The person in question
Now regarding my ban, I had a look into the person in question, King Von, Username ilyan.
Tell me how someone is allowed to stay in the community when they cause a lot of issues,, for starters, This person in my opinion has a pattern of adventure and what is essentially ragebaiting other players in the server, Being a mean-spirited, malicious individual. As referenced by his bans, Granted these bans where back in 2024 however i would argue there behaviour has not improved

I would argue that this person has a long history of being that mean spirited person.

2 - My Response to the F6

During my back and forth with Gaming Peach and Acer being his mentor (im assuming as he was checking with Acer in the report) I explained my reasoning to them and also expressed that in my opinion there was a chance I was wrong.

From my POV in the clip in question, I was getting extorted by said player which in a public place for a certain point of view could be considered mugging in a public place given it being in a public place given the bazaar, is in public, The definition of mugging is “A mugging is a violent street crime or assault in a public place where a perpetrator threatens or uses force to steal money or personal property” - https://someusersfiles.online/WEMe6/jAXuWEGo95.png
With regard I know that the definition is kinda loose within perp however I have to point to that definition.
When the guy came up to me, he said this in a threatening tone / manor, assuming that my brain is screwed on correctly, I would assume he would be making a threat to me as a whole as when someone says “Imma fuck you up if you don’t give me 7k” can be construed as a threat, When I honestly did all I wanted to do is set my bazaar shop up properly without the threat, In public when on your guy’s mugging map, bazaar is off limits, and I did not take anything of his for a force withdraw to occur. Gaming peach (Or acer, Or both even) Have my demo, and they knew I spoke to them once, where they asked to swap a gun for another one, which i declined, This would not constitute a forced withdrawal. Now undoubtedly my rule knowledge is lacking, I was away for 3 months on an adventure (Destiny 2, Overwatch and the like can be considered an adventure Right…Right?)
Now I don’t know if things have changed in the 3 months but from my general rule of thumb if your making threats like that, Unprovoked like that would that not constitute 1.4 on their side, as they were harassing someone they have nothing to do with, And has a history of doing so, For example before the thread was locked down, The evergreen thread where they shot people over what seems to me like petty beef, (Where they got baited in turn) Or any other interaction both in game and on the forums which is public to see.

Anyway im going to let you guys deal with it from here, Thanks for hearing me out, Looking into this
(Also I want to just point out, GamingPeach Acer and whoever else I have no ill will against them, they are just doing what they need too, to keep roles and i hope david gets mod ASAP as they dealt with the report great IMO)

First of all what does this have to do anything with me? you mentioning my past bans i get it am the one that reported you and got you banned, u went and send screenshots of my past bans the perma ban i got back in 2024 has nothing to do ingame it was way more further then that, but am guessing you trying to get unbanned just cause some shit i did back in 2024?

So you just amitted to breaking 2.5 - which states "You must not seriously harm someone else's experience unless it is a fair and reasonable response to their negative actions against you" me telling you no, is not enough recorse for you to threaten harm on me, Which is what the threat was based off, I also assume you know 3.4 - You must not take actions that put your life, safety or freedom from jail at serious risk without a good reason. so what was the reason you thought it be ok to threaten me, which hence put your life at risk.

I told peach what happened with the second guy, The first one got brought up aka u because I told him that you just tried it with me a little while back and i wanted clarification on said issue.

I happily accepted the demo to show what i was on about orignally, Also funny you did not mention about having your mate on the phone which ended up in my shop harrasing me but you know we can skip past it if you want

After reviewing this dispute, we have came to the conclusion to deny the dispute. I'm going to reply to each of your concerns that you have raised within this dispute. To start firstly, whether the user in question supposedly has prior bans or a pattern of behaviour that you have pointed out. Each user is held accountable for their own actions, raising their previous punishments isn't a mitigating factor that we can weigh against your own rule break.

Please be rest assured, as we have looked into the claim, however have came to the conclusion that being asked for money, or a heated response within a disagreement amongst yourselves does not on it's own constitute harassment or a breach of 1.4. From the demo and evidence provided, there is nothing to prove a sustained pattern of being targeted, or unprovoked harassment against yourself specifically, that would meet the threshold for action, therefore we have decided that this part of the appeal will not result in any punishment against the other party.

Moving onto the main point of the dispute, as you should know, the action taken against yourself needs to be a reasonable response to a genuine immediate threat. Based on everything we have reviewed of the events that took place, being asked for money, then being spoken to in aggressive manner, or an extremely minor threat made within the conversation, does not meet the threshold requirement especially not when they attempted to deescalate the situation. Therefore, the 2.5 ban is deemed valid.
