Suggestion Title: Firefighter Investigations
Suggestion Description: Was thinking of an addition that would make firefighting more fun. For example, when a fire is burning, the firefighters can run some kind of diagnostics to find out whether the fire was man-made (by a bomb, molotov, etc) or natural, and then they can relay that information to police. Maybe if a person sets off enough explosives/incendiaries, they can eventually find out who the bomb maker/planter is, like in real life how bomb makers often have a "bomb making fingerprint" due to the way they assemble their explosives. I think it could be interesting, as a lot of the time you can kill someone and Molotov the body, and it's all over as it removes DNA, but this would punish players who do this too much by allowing them to be eventually caught after repeat offenses.
I think this could be implemented a couple of ways.
A: Every time someone uses a bomb or incendiary theres a chance they leave identifiable information behind (something like 10 percent) and each time they do it it increases the percentage chance of discovery.
B: After a certain number of times of a person using a bomb or incediary they are guaranteed to have their identity revealed.
Why should this be added?:
- Why this should be added:
Makes it so that killing and then molotoving the body now has a discovery chance that increases over time (like in real life). It would also make car bombing no longer essentially a free kill and mean there is always a chance of being caught eventually.
What negatives could this have?:
- Could increase police confrontations, which can be seen as negative
- Removes the ability for civilians to "cleanly kill" someone and get away easily, which some may see as a negative
What problem would this suggestion solve?: Makes it so that killing and then molotoving the body now has a discovery chance that increases over time (like in real life). It would also make car bombing no longer essentially a free kill and mean there is always a chance of being caught eventually.
