Update Log 09/09/26

Please read the note, this will not get you punished. If you can't tell if someone is armed or not and they've not done a good job of showing you, shoot them. If a player starts running away or darts across your screen as you swing, surprising you... Shoot them as well

Using bats and cars to disarm and mug isn't changing. The wording was changed from "weapons" to "guns" so that players holding melees (like shovels) are not immune to being mugged
Thanks for clarifying

Best update in a very long time, very awesome

Though, since the update dropped there has been a massive increase in lag - people constantly teleporting and just general lag issues, any plans on looking into that?
The lag issues compared with the new audio is making pvp so cooked

Totally agree with that, i have audio issues aswell

Great and amazing update maybe even the best above v6 but the lag has made the server beyond unplayable unfortunately
Unfortunately, the majority of the lag is caused by network loss caused by problems with our host, so we cannot change that. We are already communicating with the host to find a solution, I believe this problem actually started long before this update.

Apart from that, we will also add some performance optimizations next week that should help, but without the network fix it will probably still feel laggy.

I applied some networking optimzations that should help server performance. I also removed some module that we had that allowed 32 bit players to join without crashing due to not loading all the models when joining but causing stuttering when first moving to new map areas. It should noticeably improve these kinds of stutters for everyone.

If everything goes right we can also switch to a new server host tomorrow to see if the networking issues will be fully resolved there.
