THE LAST GOODBYE​

The rain poured over Paralake.Irwin, Jyrki, Lauri, John, Kevin, and Mike had once built the Finnish Mafia together. They were brothers, and they believed nothing could tear them apart.They were wrong.After the final shootout, Irwin, Jyrki, Lauri, and the first John were gone.But Kevin and Mike survived.Years later, they returned to the old warehouse. Waiting there were John, Jan, Juhani, and Chris.Mike pulled out an old photograph of the fallen four."They should be standing here with us."Nobody answered.Kevin looked at the photograph, fighting back tears."We promised we'd all make it out."Mike quietly replied:"We didn't. But we'll remember them."They placed the photograph inside the abandoned warehouse and walked away together.Five footsteps disappeared into the rain.The Finnish Mafia was gone.But those who remained carried the memories of those they lost.
