Why were you punished?: 2.5 Excessive Negativity
Why should this appeal be considered?: As soon as I killed the player who reported me, I double-checked the rules to see if I did anything wrong, and found I had violated bullet 3 of rule 2.5. ICly, the player who reported me called me a bitch twice, and I didn't give him a specific verbal threat of retribution to stop. I saw him punching a roadcrew worker, so I ended up stabbing him to defend said roadcrew worker. The roadcrew worker proceeded to run over not just me, but also his unconscious body a few times. I attemped to take him to the hospital to revive him to no avail. He ended up dying, justifiably expressing his anger in OOC. As I saw the roadcrew worker speed off from the hospital and immediately crash into a crosswalk median sign, I realized he was likely justified in his initial unarmed assault due to the threat to life said roadcrew worker caused.
