Why should this player be punished?: Rule Broken:
Rule 6.1: If the server crashes or restarts, you must not continue any previous roleplay, unless agreed by those involved. You must not commit crimes, or try to chase previous suspects or wanted people as Police until 10 minutes have passed. You and your props will be returned to their old locations after a crash or restart.

What happend:
He tried to abuse the restart and raided me with his friend before it occured.
To be precise, it was exactly after the 10 minutes alert before the restart.

When I came back to my property after the restart Brian Herro simply shot and killed me.
He kept waiting after the restart to steal my coke and further more, killed me.

Now, to shed more light on the matter.
I'm a solo player.
30 players were online.
No alarm on my door.

So IF he didn't plan on abusing the restart, he had 10 minutes to take the drugs out and secure it before the restart (Even tho that in itself is a violation of the rule since he can't ocntinue previous roleplay scenario.)
Instead, he chose to remain at my base after the restart and wait for my coke to grow.
Not only that, when I came back he shot me to death even tho I posed no threat.

Unfortunetly I didn't record before this point (Thought I did :/) but there are the demos so if you want to see prior to my death I'll gladly share the demos.
The evidence video started recording after my death, I simply cut it to the point of the server restart.

Hello,
Looking back at my clips we did in fact raid you more or less 10 minutes before restart, when I finished transporting the weapons and went to check on your coke it was only a minute or two away from being ready, for that reason I chose to wait it out, but at that moment the server restarted. I did not think that waiting in your property to harvest your coke past restart would be against the rules, I assumed the rule only applied to any newly committed crimes, I also assumed that you would still be under NLR and not able to return to your property (it seems that way from the clip you posted as well, you seem to be waiting out your NLR to return to your base, then shortly after restart you run back to your property perhaps due to the restart nullifying your NLR timer). Regardless, after reading the rule again, I see that it states you must not continue previous roleplay. I can admit fault in that regard and would like to apologize to you personally and would like to offer you a resolution. I am willing to refund you the coke that I harvested.

You raided me about 10 seconds after the 10 minutes note of the restart.
So the NLR has passed regardless of the server restart.
So you had more than enough time to handle the things there. 10 minutes is plenty of time in an empty appartment with no one around to bother you. not even police online.
I see no reason for you to do it except for purposely trying to abuse the server restart.
And you even shot me to death afterwards...

If you seek resolution and willing to refund my items, I still request a warning to your name so if it happens again you won't have an excuse because it really looks intentional it from my side.
If you don't then I would like the matter to handle more seriously but that's up for the admins, not me.

I am not trying to say it was not intentional, more like I was not fully aware of the rule and I am taking responsibility for breaking it. You keep saying that I abused the restart as if the restart benefitted me somehow in this case, clearly it has done the opposite. If it had not restarted the outcome would have been the same. Your coke was a short time from being ready and I was able to harvest it right after restart. As for why I killed you, it is because the moment I logged on, I found myself in your base with you inside, so it was the first thing that came to mind. But that is besides the point. You are right, I broke a rule, I am not making any excuses, only explaining why what happened - happened, and now I am offering to apologize and return the coke you lost due to it.

Yeah, I get it and you showing remorse is great which is why I'm asking for a warrning instead of a ban.
I still think you did it on purpose but showing that you are willing to give the items back and all I don't think a ban or something should be issued.
I still want a warning tho since it will prevent you in the future if you ever try to do it maliciously.
As for the items, you can keep them, I don't really mind the few $ I had, just wanted to make sure you are sorry for it.
But again, I still want a warning as it will prevent you from doing it again in the future. If you have no intention of doing it again then there's absolutely no risk for you.
