Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Server Ban
Appeal Type: Dispute[Evidence]
Which staff member issued the punishment?: The Peak
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: 1 Week

Your Steam Name: ABA loves
Your Roleplay Name: Jony Pinchas
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:188888755

Why were you punished?: 2.5 3.4 - User, after defending his base from raiders, attempted with his organisation to steal weapons from the raiders. When cops entered the base to confiscate the weapons, his organisation member opened fire on the police. Knowing that his organisation member was doing so solely over the weapons, he assisted with KOSing PD, causing him to be shot unconscious and jailed.

Why should this appeal be considered?: Im here to dispute a ban because I feel it was wrong, when Alto shot at cops making himself 10 I had to act in line with Rule 2.6 you’re meant to continue the roleplay while following the rules. I had to continue roleplay and could not just stop because he chose to break rules, the stupidity of the situation led to this and I feel that it was wrongful as I was merely acting in line with rule 2.6. regedless of his reason for shooting cops, he still did it so i have to defend him from getting 7+ years in jail I sincerely hope you see the point I'm attempting to get across to you as I don't see myself in the wrong here. I wasn't trying to break rules, you may check my ban record ( there is none, bar this) I play perp because I enjoy it and I would appreciate if you take your time to look at this in depth

2.6 Reporting a Rule-Breaker

You must create a report if you see someone breaking the rules or if you need help. Once you have made a report, you should continue roleplaying while following the rules until a staff member intervenes.

Saying that you were required to defend your friend by 2.6 is just patently false. What you should have done in this situation is surrender and tell the police you had nothing to do with their actions. As a whole, under no circumstances are you ever required to kill cops because your friend is wanted for 7+, and given that you admit to knowing he was shooting cops just to claim Raider's guns, that makes you just as guilty as they were. By the same logic, you could argue that if your friend MassRDMed a bunch of civilians, you should also KOS police to stop them from being arrested for mass murder. We see your point; however, it is just not correct.

Your ban will remain in place. If you have any concerns relating to the severity of the punishment due to your record, you should make a staff complaint to appeal the specific form of punishment issued instead.
