Basically I want a new 'gaming' monitor. I have a couple of ideas but I'd like the communities input on the best gaming monitor. I am after fast refresh rate and a decent screen colour and resolution. My budget is £300-400 and below.

Star Citizen is a great concept, amazing graphics and exploration however it is in much need of more content. I would just wait for the game to get more depth then I would try it.
