For me every first game i join crashes so i rejoin right after, try that? I don't know alot of other ways just thought I'll leave this ehre as help.

So when I start GMod and join Perpheads my game gets this Engine Error after 5 minutes of loading: failed to lock index buffer in cmeshdx8::lockindexbuffer I've installed the latest drivers, my dxlevel is 91, I disabled downloading content from servers. Nothing works, keep getting crashes...

Try to lower your graphical settings, resolution and/or dxlevel, either too high or too low may affect your ability to join the server. I think anything above 95 or under 90 crashes your game upon joining. Unsure whether this is true for other players though.

I recently tried rejoining the server and, well, it crashes everytime, i have tried deleting all addons and reinstalling only perp, but they all just re-install. So my only way to check, was to look at the crash file through MDMP Software from microsoft Store. any Ideas. Crash file text below.

Keep trying, once I crashed 4 times until I could successfully connect, its weird, could be 64bit thats causing it. Maybe post crash logs or dumps if you have any in your gmod folders

yesterday i deleted the whole game and hasdd to downoload all addons back and i tried to join back but still crashed

Put your textures and graphics settings to high on your settings in the menu when off the server, do this to void crashing and anger. Go into your Gmod directory and to the addons folder and delete any besides CSS and HL and Perpheads content and reload your game and join the server.

Is it a graphical error? Cause I remember when I joined the server my Garry's Mod Settings were set to high, which gave me a wear glitchy/stretched version of a few cars and some people were invisible.. Also try to see if any addons from your personal Garry's Mod isn't messing with the server...

try removing addons you don't use, I used to have that problem and removing all the addons fixed the issue

bro 10 minutes to restart gmod and join a server is still too much. I remember even using a 2 core pc in the middle east with 120+ ping in servers which are for my region and still it took me like 5 minutes to join back a server if not less when my game crashed.

Have you tried the usual? Verify game cache. Re-install addons. Re-install gmod. Put all options to highest settings. Try these, and if you've tried other things, then please post them here

Try verifying your game cache buddy. If you are using Mac, the server doesn't work too great on it and that's where most of the issues lie. PM me if you need any further assistance buddy :)
