This fixes the issue of cops picking guns up right away, because the fact of cops not having to take it anywhere just allows them to think they the right too, especially for newer cops. Yes it's a pain in the ass however in most situations you will need to wait till everyone's dead anyways. If... -

Just add it so they got to be in the area of a car. This encourages there to be an actual perimeter for cops so people don't just drive down all the time. If cops die they can move down and reforce it when the rest of the weapons get confiscated -
