Hi there,

Fredy found a new way to fix some FPS - Me and Alex were driving through the city with 60FPS with 60 players on line. Each of these commands needs to be placed in the console one by one. The clothes on yourself and other people do flicker quite a bit however the FPS is immense with a standard graphics card.

cl_threaded_bone_setup 1
cl_threaded_client_leaf_system 1

r_threaded_client_shadow_manager 1
r_threaded_particles 1
r_threaded_renderables 1
r_queued_ropes 1

studio_queue_mode 0

gmod_mcore_test 1

mat_queue_mode 2
host_thread_mode 1
r_queued_post_processing 1
r_queued_decals 1

You can get more by changing the "studio_queue_mode" to 1; however I disabled this due to it making everything look weird.

It's obviously not perfect, and I am in no way held responsible to your gMod blowing up. I didn't make this, and @Fredy found it.

The flashing clothes are quite annoying, and you DO have to re-input on restart.

So, what do you mean by making clothes flicker?

So what I did is, copy the thing from above and not the one on the bottom.

If this works im sending you a stroopwafel by mail.

(Seriously tough, my intel pentium laptop with intergrated graphics gets 14 fps on a busy sight and my APU with 4gigs has 3 fps. I'd be so happy if it works)

@AyJay

You deserve a fucking cookie. i get 14 fps instead of 4 .

Also, to remove the flickering clothes set mat_queue_mode to 3
set it to 1 if you need to see clothing colours

Didnt test it yet, I have 78 fps without this so maybe Ill get like 90. To not put it in console all the time put it in startup commands, save it, open the game, close it, remove all the commands, start the game, voila! No need to enter it all the time.

Will test this tommorow!

When I write it mat_queue_mode 3 instead of 2, the clothes stop flickering but they all become white...
