But seriously, make staff complaints if you think any member of staff is acting with bias or abusing their powers. Complaints are taken seriously, regardless of who it’s on.

How is a script going to detect whether use of a Molotov is within the confines of the rules or not? Every situation has so many different parameters to consider, a simple script would never be able to take all those things into consideration.

I do not agree, because a script is not an AI. If you gave an AI all information regarding the rules, laws, and circumstances of a situation, it’ll probably be able to come to a conclusion whether something is allowed within the rules - but even so, it is still an AI and therefore not 100% guaranteed to be right.
Who’s going to code this AI to deal with each situation that occurs in every single instant, and who’s going to provide the infrastructure to support it? No one.

There is simply no way to code a system that knows when a molotov is being used appropriately, that is completely impossible.

Ban and warning reasons are public, and we have a lot of staff members who routinely click through recent punishments just to read them. If a punishment reason looks dodgy, one of us will likely flag it and contact the staff member who issued it. Beyond that, any player could dispute a punishment they have received for it to be reviewed by different staff members.

The point I am trying to make is that there are several checks to make sure that, in general, punishments are fairly consistent and enforcement of certain rules and situations remains the same. Us actually needing to intervene is quite rare, meaning that on average, most punishments are fine.

In your case, specifically, you died in a Hungriges Schwein situation, respawned, and tried to torch the whole place a few minutes later. There is not a single staff member on the team who would allow anyone to do something like that.

If you believe your punishment is invalid, please create a dispute. If you have a grievance about how a staff member has dealt with you, please make a staff complaint. If you believe a specific rule needs changing, please make a rule suggestion.
