Why should this player be punished?: Subject had been pulled over for a 12.5 violation after he had committed the violation Infront of multiple cop resulting in an RTC. When attempting to pull him over he stopped his car on the onramp towards subs and jumped out. After a short while he decided it was a good idea to flee over a minor traffic infraction by jumping into his friend's car and flee the scene.

As a result both him and his friend has received a warrant for their arrest risking their freedom as a result.

I don't know why this guy is acting dumb. This guy spends 10 hours a day trying to get every chance to arrest people for 12.12 he know very well that exiting the gas station going up the wrong way + as a result colliding with a cop car is clearly 12.12. Now I didn't know this guy saw me do this as he had his back turned so I stopped to see wheather he saw me. When he listed the things that I've done I knew I was eligible for a great escape as it is allowed to run form PD with 12.12 charges. Saw a friend and I succesfully escaped with him into the sunset. This kid is just mad because he got outplayed and failed to arrest me which he does %100 of the time he sees a 12.12.

12.12 is maximum of 4 years which is not worth risking further extension by running and not cooperating with Police.

The way you have responded in your reply is also not helping your case so please remain respectful.

If there is no other reason given to run from a 12.12 charge I will be concluding this AR in some hours

I've been told its allowed multiple times by staff, please refer to this ar for more proof: https://perpheads.com/threads/action-request-cmen-dmen.73350/

You notifying this person of their arrest for recklessly driving and wanting to process them with prison time for doing so, fleeing is generally fine and allowed, as the risk for an additional 1-2 years or so is worth risking for no jail time at all, which is reasonable.

At no point were you informed of the charges you were going to receive. Instead, you made an assumption regarding the offense and acted on that assumption without conducting any proper inquiry into the reason for the stop. As I have already stated, you were being stopped for a 12.5 violation. At no point were you told that you were being placed under arrest for a 12.12 offense.

As such, the reasoning you have provided is based entirely on your own assumptions rather than the facts of the situation, rendering your justification invalid.

Furthermore, as a direct result of your actions, your friend was ultimately arrested after becoming involved in your attempt to evade law enforcement. By choosing to flee and involving another individual, you exposed them to legal consequences that they otherwise would not have faced. This outcome falls squarely within the scope of 3.4, as your reckless decision-making directly contributed to the situation and its resulting consequences.

That is true but only if you know for sure that you're being arrested if said so by the Officer themselves. This has not happened in this case and you were being spoken to about why you decided to step out in the middle of the highway, creating a dangerous situation.

For example it would be the same if you shoot down an Officer after murdering someone just recently in a secluded area. You can't just assume that you're warranted and shoot the Officer, you must investigate yourself and get confirmation that you are receiving that charge. Officer's are not allowed to lie either in this context, but once you know your charge you may act accordingly if it's worth it.

As mentioned above, it is not allowed to run from a traffic stop unless you know what you're being charged for. The RTU Officer in this case was only talking to you about why you decided to stop on the highway, creating a dangerous situation. At no point did they say that you were being arrested.
If a player knows they will be receiving a jail sentence for, say, 3 or 4 years, fleeing is generally fine. This is because risking 1-2 years more in exchange for the chance of getting no jail time at all is reasonable. This does not mean that anyone can always flee when they have committed a "minor" crime. Most traffic stops, even for things like reckless driving, result in tickets like 90% of the time.
There is a bit more to this quote that was given to us so please also refer to the quote above as to not get confused in the future.

According to your record you will receive a 3 day ban. You do have a record of breaking 3.4 but you have shown improvement since January, which is why this isn't as harsh and I've shown more leniency towards your progress.
