Why Should This Player Be Punished: So it started off after I sold my drugs at bazaar, I drove past slums to check if somebody lived there. I took out my binoculars to check who is inside. I saw a guy with a sniper (m24) Aimed at his window so I looked what he did. He aimed his gun at me and shot me. He broke the next rules.

2.5 and 3.4.

2.5 : He killed me with not reason. I was unarmed and I was no threat for him.

3.4 : He was standing with his sniper at the window, while if an officer saw that, he could risk his life by getting 10 years of jail, and possibly getting killed by swat or any other officers.

Evidence (Demo Required):

Sorry for the lag, with the recording.

Hello there, Im going to post my opinion about this Action Request: + Support

So as seen in the video, its an m24, which can be heard from far away, and the Police Department is like 10 meters away from the actual appartment, so the shot will be very clear to hear from the PD. Which is 3.4 because theres no reason for him to kill you really.

Then 2.5 because there was no reason to kill you, you were unarmed, and no threat to the person in Slums at the time being.

So he did indeed break 2.5 & 3.4, so Im going to support this AR because of those 2 rules being broken, thank you.

This was right after it happened which doesn't match up to the video

Just making my perspective clear:

I was scouting PD for any SWAT, since I was actually about to get raided by a single SWAT before he logged out for some reason: Caine Coast ( Caineyy ), so I thought i'd scout PD if there's any SWAT, my view distance was very bad so i opted to use my sniper as I didn't have binoculars. Then I looked around and saw a guy looking directly at my window with what I saw as a Camera at first glance.

I knew from previous experience that snitchers would get the cops on me for owning an illegal firearm (m24 sniper) so I opted to kill him and remove the body via Molotov.

Included are the two screenies I took just incase I had to dispute an AR against me.

As seen in the 1st screenshot, I saw a random passerby stop by Slums gas-station, and just start scouting the apartment complex I was in, I had the sniper out, as stated previously, to scout out PD for any SWAT presence. So my 1st impression of Steylex was either a scout for a larger gang, or someone catching me at a vulnerable moment ( telling police there;s an armed sniper in Slums 4 to arrest me etc. )

So I elected to shoot him to save myself some trouble, I heard no sirens or saw any other passerbys on the nearby side-walks so I threw a Molotov to erase any DNA evidence to prevent a legal investigation into his death, to prevent implicating me. As seen in Screenshot 2.

I understand how I ruined Steylex's RP by, from his perspective, getting randomly shot in the middle of a street for looking at a random window and noticing a sniper. I accept responsibility for 2.5 and accept a minimised ban.

However, I did check the coast for any patrolling cops prior to scouting via a sniper and to obtain a better vantage, I crouched onto the stove/counter in Slums, I understand when I noticed Steylex, I should have hidden my weapon as opposed to killing him. Afterwards, I did Molotov as stated previously, to eliminate any involvement or link that could be traced back to me, also done when incognito / coast was clear.

Again, sorry Steylex.

Edited for grammar.

Here we go. Now, I have contacted the user via steam and asked him to explain his actions. He did make a reply on the forums none the less, and he told me the exact same reason as said in his previous post. I have also explained to the user what rules he broke and how he broke them. He did not understand how he broke rule 3.4 therefor I explained it to him.

User has broken rules 2.5 and 3.4. Killing someone for being a witness is definetly in valid, and trying to save your self from the cops by killing him and molotoving his body is definetly not the smartest. Not to mention, there was a NPC at the gas station which would've heard the shots, and since you did molotove his body the NPC could've seen that too. Therefor, I think 6.3 needs to be added. Let me explain how you broke the rules, even though I already did through steam.

2.5 (Excessive Negativity): User broke rule 2.5 by killing an unarmed civilian for an invalid reason when the situation could've been dealt with in an appropriate manner. You were not a threat to him in any way. Killing you was unnecassry and would just cause more trouble.

3.4 (Putting your life at risk): User risked his life by killing someone using a Sniper (Super loud) right next to the PD for something so minor that it could've been dealt with easily. This of corse risked his life from imprisonment for an invalid reason as stated before.

6.3(NPC's): I believe the User broke rule 6.3 since there is an NPC at the gas Station which heard the whole thing, and considering he molotoved the body I believe the NPC saw him doing these actions. The user confirmed to me that he did not deal with the NPC in any way as he did not think it was necessary. I am going to be explaining to him this rule on steam, and how dealing with the NPC was deemed necessary. The NPC is to be considered as a normal player, and since you killed @SteyLex for being a witness, you should've gagged/ tied the NPC since it was also a witness.

This is definetly a +Support from me. User has 2 bans and 1 warning on record. He does seem to regret his actions, and I explained to him what he did wrong. If you need his Steam ID:STEAM_0:0:27286071 then here you go.

Thank You for reading,
George Schurr.

With regards to this action request, it is apparent that the user's reasons for shooting you can not be properly justified in accordance to server rules. Just because someone acts suspicious, doesn't mean that you can go ahead and shoot them over a simple assumption, the user will be punished accordingly.
