Why should this player be punished?: Bastard scammed me, was trying to buy a bulk purchase of coke leaves, when purchasing I used the /desc ect to make sure it was iron tight, he kept pretending the chest was glitching so he couldn't place it, delaying so his mate could come and pick him up, legged it.
Then, as you do in real life, he went and changed his name at city hall.

He adverts the exact same advert with his new name though, so tracked him down to get my money back, and he refused orders at gunpoint, ruining my chances to get my money back. Smart really. Then the next guy he was going to scam killed me lol.

1 - Correction, He never changed his name, its been that name ever since he join back the org. Just want to make sure the record is clear on that front
2 - Scaming for leafs is allowed so you complaining as much is wild,
3 - You have no actual video evidence I dont think staff are wilingly going to go into a demo without a good enough reason so please provide actual evidence and not the demo files
4 - Can you discribe what you said in the /me - /desc?

Just relised it was 2 seprate situations... MB on that one deleted point 4 and changed it, However the rest of my points still stand
 
I had a gun drawn on the second meeting before you even gave me any verbal instruction or i saw you. The /desc was on your part, I never did a /me dropping leaves or anything of the kind; therefore you doing the /me picking up leaves has no valid use behind it as none were dropped.
 


Please go into your demos and provide a clip of the interaction so I can see exactly what happened.
 
Sorry mate spent an hour trying to figure it out couldn't get the audio working and player models wouldn't load.

I wanted to change my name. I have checked the rules and don't see how that is relevant. No facial features were changed and he was still clearly able to track me down and find my.
 
Hahah bullshit mate, you went and changed you name and your clothes for the sole purpose of hiding from me, I had to call you when I went to steal my money back because I thought i'd get done for "meta gaming" because I knew you from your name, I just assumed you'd changed your face too.


You know what you did was a massive dog act, type of thing that makes players leave the game, and you and your friend do it 24/7. Adds nothing to the game.

Within the rules, no changes to my face was made
 
Read the rule again. I will talk with the rest of the staff team to see if a punishment should be issued.
 


@Laddy I need a clip of the second interaction to see what happened there, as you are claiming they broke gunpoint.
 




@Laddy - After reviewing all the clips provided, I can see that @Palodhi did nothing wrong. Using /me and /desc for them doesn’t work in this situation. In the future, you should use the cash register to avoid being scammed, as it’s a reliable method for drug transactions.

@Laddy - Regarding the second interaction: the user had a gun in hand. It’s understandable that you were taking a risk by gunpointing someone already armed, but considering the amount involved was $485k, the risk might have seemed worth it. As a result, no punishment will be issued to either of you.

@Palodhi - Regarding rule 3.14 and the name change: this rule was meant to include names when the rules were condensed a few month ago but was accidentally removed. It has now been updated. Because of this, no punishment will be issued. However, please keep in mind that the rule has now been officially changed to the following:

"In-Character names or facial features must not be changed when warranted or being pursued by other players or police."
