Why should this player be punished?: We received a call regarding an ongoing raid at South Gate, and several officers, including myself, responded. While en route, I observed numerous life alerts and, with roughly 40–60% of responding units already incapacitated, deemed the area unsafe. After arriving in the Business Sector and seeing approximately 75% of officers eliminated, a second supervisor also declared the area Code 6, so I withdrew toward Collier's. While withdrawing, a bleeding civilian approached requesting medical aid. As there was no immediate threat nearby, I treated their injuries. Once the area had quieted, with only brief bursts of gunfire at approximately 02:07 and 02:26 before falling silent again, I cautiously re-approached. During this time, I spotted an armed individual outside and fired at them, although I'm fairly certain I hit the wall instead.

Seeing no visible hostiles, I collected DNA evidence before heading toward Tidals to issue a warrant based on the evidence gathered. As I left Tidals and entered the roundabout, I encountered Spliffy walking down the street with a weapon on his back. My assumption was that he had come from behind Tidals toward the gas station, where some individuals park. As soon as I made the turn, he stopped, turned towards me, drew his weapon, and opened fire.

I am having difficulty understanding how this engagement was justified. I was leaving the area near SG, and he had plenty of time to simply continue walking away and leave the area. He was only walking down the street with a weapon on his back, and I was not presenting any immediate threat. I see no reason why he needed to stop, draw his weapon, and engage me, as it only created additional attention toward himself. Assuming he was involved in the SG raid, he likely had a much better chance of escaping by continuing to leave rather than stopping to engage me. From my perspective, it felt less like a necessary engagement and more like it was done for the kill.

I'm also fairly certain this incident led to two additional shootouts in the Bazaar, although a demo would be required to confirm whether he was involved in either of those incidents. @Acerius

@Spliff2k22 please explain what you were doing leading up to kill ejecting the LEO from the unmarked yellow Ford Crown Victoria because - from what I can see in the logs - you were not in combat nor directly involved in anything prior, yet seemed to be wandering aimlessly about, and why you had decided to shoot them in the first place.

Please explain why you then fled into the Bazaar and extended the shootout into killing LEOs there. I note you were already warned for disconnecting during the middle of the Bazaar shootout, but it would be good to understand why it had even ended up there in the first place. All in all, it seems like whatever had happened at Southgate or Tidals had been concluded for a good amount of time without your prior involvement.

Providing demo perpheads_demo_2026-7-27 15-37-44 would be helpful, too.
