Why should this player be punished?: The player seemed to have stayed around after committing a crime for no reason, leading to me being shot.

I responded to shots fired at the PD lobby, where two people were seemingly having a fist fight before one shot the other. Medical already took the DNA and removed the body. I was questioning people in the lobby. I then asked the medic if he had already removed the body and if there was any DNA, when the player, standing wordless behind me, pointed a gun at me. I turned due to the medic's statement and got shot.

They did not react or give their input in time, this will be handled now.

I can see from the logs that they killed a person at the Police Department with a Glock 17 after someone used a bottle on them and caused them to bleed.
For whatever reason they did not report this act of self defence and also finished them off later. They then decided to linger around the crime scene but instead of admitting and handing themselves in they decided to shoot you (Police at the time) and the medic, most likely for reporting said crime.

They will receive a 5 day ban for their actions, namely for 2.5 and 3.4.
It is likely that this ban will be extended once I have investigated a demo on them from a previous situation they were reported for.
