Suggestion Title: Add Food Delivery Driver as a Job
Suggestion Description: Given the new rollout adding Mcuwes cooks and food customization as a job, I figured it’d be fitting to have something like an UberEats driver as a job.
Possibly similar to PPS, it’d be an app where you could order food whether it be a menu item or custom-made to order. The driver can then arrive at the restaurant, pick it up once it’s ready, and then deliver it to the person who orders it.
If there are not cooks online, then like the PPS Driver, the food delivery driver can pick up NPC generated orders to deliver around the city (Shop employees need to eat after all).
I’m hesitant to say make an outright Mcuwes app to give room to possibly more restaurants that might be added in the future, but it could also work like that as well if Mcuwes is the only restaurant getting server development. The app could also alternatively allow the player to order remotely so they could pick it up themselves.
Why should this be added?:
- Makes food ordering more convenient for those basing.
- Adds more jobs to the server.
- Gives more work opportunity for the Mcuwes staff.
- Gives newer players another opportunity to familiarize themselves with the map.
What negatives could this have?:
- More dev time to develop the app, set vehicles and uniforms, etc. (Could be mitigated somewhat since the framework would be similar to the PPS framework mechanic-wise).
- More workload/stress for the Mcuwes staff, this I see is the double-edged sword.
- Possibly less incentive to hang out at the Bazaar and make it less of a social space.
- Opens up the risk of raids with people pretending to be delivery drivers like they do with PPS deliveries.
What problem would this suggestion solve?: This could ease any bottlenecks that form during high traffic periods at Mcuwes, and gives players basing an option to order out without putting their business at risk of raiding.
It also provides players with a more convenient way to order food and either pick it up later or have it delivered.
