I dropped the money down the slope, you turned away and walked away. I saw my chance to run as I thought Collier would be ready to shoot you when you came back out but unluckily he was facing the other way. You can view some of the older guides on how 3.4 works.

Your actions lead to you dying, you literally had no chance of escaping without me shooting you which is why you died. The best way to understand if its 3.4 is did your actions get you killed? yes.

@Ethan took at huge risk running away for an unjustifiable reason; I don't see how you can expect @Collier to help save your life if has no clue to what is going on. On top of that the mugging was almost over, why take such a huge risk for no reason?
